Akira Funahashi
Funa.org was launched on Sep. 1998 by Akira and his friend Ryunosuke. Since then the site has been served by FreeBSD on K6 233MHz PC-AT machine for 10 years. Amazingly, our server is still alive, but we decided to switch to new architecture. Thanks to 10 years, so many things have changed: now we have optical fiber network, low power and high performance CPU, enormous amount of memory, etc. Brand new funa.org is up with current technology, and still, *BSD is beside us.
